Anakata is a puzzle game about seeing into the future. Just like a 2D graph can show us the trajectory of an object along one axis through time, a 3D space can show us the trajectories of 2D objects on a 2D plane. By manipulating the starting positions of these objects, you can influence their fates — and with perfect knowledge about the future, you can pull off some pretty incredible things.
This game is currently in development. I’m doing the programming and art, and Ben Caulkins is on music and sound design.
