Dino Dearest is a silly dating sim set in a prehistoric university. This game was developed with Ben Caulkins (sound design and music), Anthony Licata (3D modeling), and Perrin Mercer (writing). I did the programming and 2D artwork.
We showed a demo off at the Rensselaer Game Showcase (a student-run day of playing local and student games) in the fall of 2015, and the response was so positive that we decided to put it up for free online. Over the next few days, it was featured as one of Rock Paper Shotgun’s best free games of the week, and Alpha Beta Gamer gave it a very flattering review. YouTubers have now made dozens of Let’s Plays of the game — including the Game Grumps and JackSepticEye!
The game can be downloaded here.
